01 / IN FOCUS
Why this Code exists
Primegate's work depends on trust between buyers, suppliers, manufacturers, employees and partners. This Code sets out the principles that guide commercial and procurement relationships conducted through Primegate, and applies to Primegate staff, representatives and the suppliers we engage on a buyer's behalf.
02 / IN FOCUS
Integrity in procurement
Procurement information, quotations, product evidence and commercial representations must be accurate and not intentionally misleading. Where information is uncertain or unverified, that uncertainty is disclosed rather than presented as fact.
03 / IN FOCUS
Fair supplier engagement
Supplier decisions are based on legitimate commercial, technical, delivery and risk considerations. Registration or participation in a sourcing process does not guarantee selection or business, and suppliers are evaluated on a consistent basis appropriate to the requirement.
04 / IN FOCUS
Conflicts of interest
Employees, representatives and suppliers are expected to disclose conflicts — financial, familial or otherwise — that could reasonably influence, or appear to influence, a procurement decision. A disclosed conflict is managed rather than automatically disqualifying; an undisclosed one is treated as a serious breach.
05 / IN FOCUS
Anti-bribery and improper inducements
Primegate does not support bribes, kickbacks or improper payments intended to influence procurement decisions. Gifts, hospitality or commercial incentives must not be used to bypass legitimate buyer, tender or company rules, and any offer that appears designed to do so should be declined and reported.
06 / IN FOCUS
Confidentiality
Commercial documents, tenders, pricing, specifications, supplier information and client information are handled only for legitimate business purposes and shared only with parties who genuinely need the information for the relevant engagement. See Trust & Data Security for how this applies specifically to documents you send us.
07 / IN FOCUS
Product and documentation integrity
Suppliers must not knowingly provide counterfeit, misrepresented or materially non-conforming products. Certificates, authorisations, test documents and other evidence must be genuine and applicable to the offered product or organisation — a document issued for a different model, batch or entity is not treated as valid evidence.
08 / IN FOCUS
Responsible escalation
Concerns about unethical conduct, misrepresentation, conflicts of interest or improper pressure should be raised through Primegate's authorised management or compliance contact. Concerns raised in good faith are reviewed without retaliation against the person raising them.
