What information should I send for a quotation?
Send as much of the requirement as you already have: product names, specifications, models or brands, quantities, delivery location, required timeline and any standards, certificates or tender requirements that may affect the offer. You can also upload a BOQ, tender document, drawing, product schedule or reference image.
Can Primegate source products that are not available locally?
Yes. Primegate's operating model includes local, regional and international sourcing. The appropriate source depends on the product, technical requirement, lead time, commercial terms and destination.
Do you handle technical or manufacturer-specific requirements?
Yes. For technical requirements, Primegate works from the specification and supporting product information. Where a particular brand, model, standard or manufacturer is mandatory, state that clearly in the RFQ so alternatives are not treated as equivalent without approval.
How do you verify suppliers?
Verification is risk-based and can include business-registration checks, capability review, product evidence, references, manufacturer documentation, commercial/delivery capacity, samples, photos or certificates relevant to the requirement. The depth of verification depends on the product, value, source and buyer requirements.
Do you support government tenders and institutional RFQs?
Yes. Primegate supports tender and RFQ review, product matching, supplier/manufacturer documentation, bid preparation support and delivery planning for supply opportunities. Award decisions remain subject to the procuring entity's evaluation process and applicable rules.
Can you support NGO and donor-funded procurement?
Primegate supports NGOs and development programmes with sourcing, supplier verification, documentation and delivery coordination. Any donor-specific rules should be provided with the RFQ so the sourcing and documentation approach can be aligned to the requirement.
Which countries do you serve?
Primegate's stated regional coverage includes East Africa, with access to local, regional and international supply channels depending on the requirement.
Do you deliver to South Sudan?
Primegate supports Uganda-based sourcing, documentation, delivery planning and coordination for South Sudan requirements. Route, border, product and destination conditions should be assessed for each engagement before a delivery commitment is made.
Can I upload a BOQ or tender document?
Yes. The Request a Quote form should allow secure upload of BOQs, tender documents, technical specifications, drawings, product schedules and reference files.
How quickly will I receive a quotation?
Quotation time depends on the completeness and complexity of the requirement. Primegate will review the request and confirm the expected quotation timeline once the specification, quantities, destination and required supporting information are clear.
Is there a minimum order size?
Primegate assesses requirements individually. Commercial feasibility depends on the product, supplier, source, quantity, delivery destination and logistics involved. Send the requirement and the team will advise whether it can be supported.
What payment terms do you offer?
Payment terms are set out in the quotation or contract for the specific engagement and may vary by client type, product, value, source and delivery structure. Do not rely on a general website statement for a binding commercial term.
How do you handle substitutions?
Where the requested product is unavailable and an alternative may be suitable, Primegate should identify the proposed difference for buyer review. A substitution should not be treated as approved merely because it is available or cheaper.
Can you arrange inspection before shipment?
Where inspection is commercially agreed and appropriate to the product, Primegate can coordinate checks or supporting evidence before dispatch. The inspection method and scope must be defined for the specific engagement.
What happens if there is a warranty issue after delivery?
Warranty terms depend on the product and supplier. Where warranty or after-sales support forms part of the agreed supply, Primegate provides a coordination route for the claim and works with the relevant supplier or manufacturer on the next action.
Is my RFQ confidential?
Primegate uses RFQs and supporting documents for the purpose of assessing, quoting and managing the requirement, subject to its applicable privacy and confidentiality procedures. If a tender or project requires a specific NDA, state this before sharing restricted information.
Do you represent international manufacturers?
Yes. Primegate's current service proposition includes manufacturer representation and market-entry support, including local buyer engagement, tender coordination, market intelligence and after-sales coordination where agreed.
How do suppliers register with Primegate?
Use the Supplier Registration page to submit company details, categories, contacts and supporting compliance/product documents. Registration is an assessment step and does not guarantee purchase orders or approved status. ##### 19. How do you protect the confidentiality of the tender or RFQ documents I send you? Primegate uses RFQs and supporting documents only to assess, quote and manage the requirement submitted, with access limited to the staff involved in that requirement. Primegate factors supplier accountability and waste-conscious logistics planning into sourcing and delivery decisions where relevant to the requirement.
